Meet Don

Don Mayhew grew up right here in rural-Missouri. After graduating from high school he attended the University of Missouri- Rolla and became a licensed Engineer and Surveyor. Don has been married to his wife, Deanna, for 39 years and they have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. 

Over the course of his career, Don has been a dedicated public servant. He has served on the local school board, as Pulaski County Surveyor, and as a member of the Pulaski County Republican Central Committee. The entire time, however, he’s been a small-business owner, not a politician.

Don knows that Missouri families are hurting. Bureaucrats in Jefferson City are pushing regulations on businesses and our local farms, hurting their ability to create quality, high-paying jobs. Don is committed to shrinking the size of government ,protecting your tax-dollars, and fighting back against out of touch polices from the Radical Left. 

Don believes that free speech and religious liberty are the cornerstones of our country and he will take the fight to those who wish to destroy our Missouri Values. Don is pro-life and believes that every human life is precious. He is also an avid outdoorsman and proud member of the NRA.

Don is the only engineer in the Missouri House and serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Appropriations - Public Safety, Corrections, Transportation, and Revenue. In this role, he is committed to protecting each of our tax dollars.
